At Medistri, our mission is to offer reliable, advanced services to healthcare companies while actively contributing to a healthier planet. We take full responsibility for the environmental impact of our operations - from sourcing materials and managing critical processes to delivering products to our customers.

We prioritise the areas where we can make the most meaningful difference: reducing our climate impact, conserving resources, and using safer materials. With millions of products passing through our sterilisation infrastructure each year, even incremental improvements can generate significant results.

Reducing Our Footprint - One Pallet at a Time
In early 2023, we released our first Carbon Emissions Report, developed in alignment with ISO 14064 standards and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
Today, we’re proud to share an important update.

Since then, Medistri has achieved a 7% reduction in CO₂ emissions per pallet, decreasing from 27 kg to 25.2 kg.

This outcome reflects the tangible results of Medistri’s long-term approach to environmental responsibility. Through disciplined operational improvements and consistent performance monitoring, the company continues to align high service standards with a measurable reduction in environmental impact. For customers, it contributes to a more transparent understanding of the environmental impact associated with their supply chain decisions.

Transparent & Measurable
The updated report outlines emissions associated with Medistri’s process, providing customers with verified, quantifiable data on CO₂ emissions per pallet. Access to this level of detail enables more accurate environmental reporting, improved supply chain visibility, and closer alignment with both internal sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.

Please note that the 2024 Carbon Emissions Report only aligns with Medistri’s operations in Switzerland and does not include activities in Hungary.

This development is part of Medistri’s broader strategy to reduce environmental impact across its operations. The company remains focused on delivering measurable progress, continuously evaluating where further improvements can be made to support its customers and the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.
